Despite the fact that it is a widespread part of our culture now, and my 72-year-old grandmother has been a Facebook junkie for a decade, I despise social media. I'm awkward enough and squirm at the thought of most social interaction without having the passive-aggressive universe of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and the thousand other programs out there shoving it in my face. The obligation of "liking" a virtual mob of people clamoring for attention and sharing the most banal details of their lives (seriously, I don't care that you love that the McRib is back) has me hoping that a global apocalypse is on the horizon. We could definitely use a "reset button."
So you shall not find me on Facebook, I will not follow you on Twitter, and SnapChat will never have my ugly mug on it. What I will do, however, is post class events and updates here whenever you information needs to be spread. Check it, subscribe to it, share it... you can do the dirty work for me! I will do my best to keep this page limited to current school events only. If you catch me getting off-topic, hit me in the face with a pillow or make me step on a Lego.
"The worst thing about the zombie apocalypse will be pretending that I'm not excited."
