Google DriveIt is important to be mindful that daily work/notes combined comprise only 10% of your grade. Assignments are meant to be short bursts of independent practice, so you only hurt yourself by copying. These resources are to help you with that practice.
Livestream/VideosAll classes are livestreamed and become video lessons afterwards. Miss a class? Watch the VOD!

Planbook
Do not rely on your teacher to send assignments and materials on Remind!!
You all know where Planbook is because every teacher uses it. For ease of access I have included it as an embedded frame below, but you may also use the Join Code 22087411 for Spring '23 Inclusion Algebra. Please, please do NOT be that kid that asks what the assignment is Sunday night at 10:30 pm! |
Materials
While no student should have to spend a single cent on public education, these are the basics that everyone is required/recommended to have for class. If you are unable to obtain anything here, a simple "Can I have X" will suffice.
A scientific calculator is essential for secondary mathematics. I strongly recommend a write-view calculator that shows in-line expressions with fractions and parentheses. They can be found at most stores for $10-15 and worth their weight in gold! You do not need a graphing calculator unless going past PreCalc. Any graphing activities will have an appropriate calculator provided (there is an emulator on your laptop). Calculators are available for checkout as well.

Internet access is not required, but makes life so much easier (same for phones). All materials are online and we will have live streams & VODs of class on YouTube so you never miss a thing! Those, however, are a privilege. If you do not have a personal device or home internet access, talk to me and our school counselors. We will make sure you have everything you need for classes!

It's a math class. You WILL graph A LOT. Many assignments will require graph paper. There will always be single sheets in our class scratch paper bin, but I keep a big stash of graph notebooks on hand for $1 each.

A notebook or binder for your daily work and notes will be turned in with each quiz, so think ahead!
Personally, I love the $5 zippered "Five-Star" folders because they stand up to ALL the abuse, and never lose items. |
